In 1938 the village was the setting of the film ( Jeannette Burgundy) made to promote public schools and services. Jeannette, played by Blanchette Brunoy fate of the normal school in Dijon and comes to take his first job as a teacher at Crimolois.
Arriving in this single class for all children until graduation certificate (no quota at that time) remembers her childhood, she revises the nursery and kindergarten and finally in the preparatory class certificate of studies. The school of Maladière brand new and modern was chosen.

The following week, we continued shooting at Avont Crimolois. At 11, I never thought that one day I would come to inhabit this village.
Later with the school children we played in the courtyard of the farm and with residents, students dressed mimicked a wedding ceremony and held roles showing everyday life in the village.
What emotion amidst the peaceful daily routine!
This film, we could see more than 30 years later by then president of Dominica Malvasio (reeds).
