This review in Googlenglish!

What are the early albums with the greatest market in 2006 in England? Arctic Monkeys, of course, widely in mind, but also Kooks , just as their twenties and who, with "Inside In / Inside Out, enjoyed great success last year, the album contains at least half a dozen singles (over a million sales and half of the year in the top 20 album charts anyway). The recipe: a very good sense of service arrangements catchy pop melodies.

Yet, as the Arctic Monkeys, I never much hung and I have never felt the urge to attend one of their concerts (although I had had a glimpse ago year). Then I came across the announcement of this concert, week before, organized by Clash Magazine: The Kooks on the acoustic Lighting . Knowing we can not fit more than one hundred in this small room, it was ultimately a very good opportunity to go see them. Finally, here bought the tickets! Kooks is a guitar group, the fact that the acoustic performance is also added back a little more. Exit bassist and drummer, The Kooks were just two on stage Luke Pritchard Hugh Harris and . And to start the concert of the best ways, they began with excellent

Ooh, definitely the song I prefer their album. There followed more or less all the other songs on the album, the set ending on Naïve , another single highly effective, all in a relaxed, almost as if the two guys playing in front their friends for a birthday. Part of the public has long demanded

Crazy, the song of Gnarls Barkley they have already taken in concert but Luke Pritchard will close pending by launching "We're not gonna play That Fucking Crazy . Finally, I must say that I have more appreciated by this little concert in a cool and intimate. In part one, we missed group Twisted Charm but not Cat The Dog, which, like The Kooks, come from Brighton. Seems more or less friends with the band in Pritchard, the four lascard Cat The Dog have warmed up in fine style with pace and power and songs to influences operating between
Nirvana
and a rock over 70's . Dressed in vintage clothes from the most beautiful effect and led by singer-like Ian Brown or Bobby Gillespie

, Cat The Dog seems to have been signed to Virgin as their second gig!

Kooks let's look at the bars (and / or clubs) that host concerts. There are an awful lot and this list, although long, is not exhaustive. The entry does not exceed 10 pounds and is sometimes even free. It is played by small groups that start but it is also possible to find great deals to see the most popular groups. As you can see on the global map, it is better to live in North London listening to music, remaining the Camden neighborhood as provided in this area. The following list is more or less ranked in order of interest. Note that for each room you will find a link to his official website (If any), a link to a map indicating its location in London and a link to its programming. Show map global Barfly
