This review in Googlenglish! Following the Kooks, Lighting return for a concert in another kind: Au Revoir Simone , is composed of three pretty young New Yorkers: Erika, Annie and Heather, the score just and wielding their keyboards perfectly to produce a mixture between electronic music and pop of the 60's. And it's hard not be charmed by these sweet voices and melodies. It's melancholy and light, the limit of the lullaby, perfect to install a relaxing atmosphere. Apparently David Lynch have also been unsuccessful. View Au Revoir Simone on the soundtrack of one of his next film would not be surprising ... With regard to their discography, after a first (mini) album in 2005, the girls released "The Bird Of Music" earlier this year, which earned them to make the cover of the magazine Arrived this time early enough not to miss the first games, we had two groups in two different styles but I found everyone in a dose of interest. The first, We're Marching On we came from Canada and played music quite crazy and uninhibited, just like their live performance. Difficult to assign a style to this group so the songs were eclectic, alternating pop, rock and experimental, all with a strong presence of keyboards. It was at least an interesting discovery. The second group, Slow Club, a guy on guitar / girl on percussion, was in the pop / folk sharing the song with minimal instrumentation. And although there was nothing extraordinary or particularly original, the melodies were very pleasant. They were also a bit inventive, using the daughter in addition to its electronic drum objects such as bars of a chair or spoons to produce sound. Finally, two girls of Au Revoir Simone came to accompany them for a rousing final song.

Then it was then the turn of Au Revoir Simone to take place on stage. All three standing on different keyboards to play while adding samples here and there, the three girls have installed an atmosphere warm and quiet in the room, true to what you can hear their album. Apart Annie excited by the time they remain fairly static, dropping still some charming smiles at times. It is easily soothed by the songs but after a while I must confess that I would have liked a little more excited ca. I enjoyed their performance but it is clear that this kind of music is not the most transcendent concert. After the concert, the girls have shown an availability and accessibility of a really nice, coming in the room for a drink and talk without any barrier. I learned they were playing overnight at Fondation Cartier in Paris where there was a series of cultural events related to ... David Lynch. A little later, while the majority of the audience had left the scene, we stayed in a small committee including members of Au Revoir Simone and Slow Club to party and dance (we even saw Annie and Heather roll ground, yes yes!).
Au Revoir Simone has been touring the U.S. with Voxtrot
and Peter Bjorn & John . I understand why girls were so unleashed when they passed the Swedish group ... Audio: Au Revoir Simone - A Violent Yet Flammable World (mp3) We're Marching On

I would like to extend my condolences to the fans who had Rennais believing to the end and perhaps even open the champagne as the Italians in 2000. I would also like to thank the fans Nantais otherwise nothing would have been possible. And yes, the improbable has happened: Toulouse
is qualified for the preliminary round of the Champions League!
I'm not a single second two weeks ago and then a pretty amazing set of circumstances gave them the chance to play among the great. It's going to piss in a packet, the controversies are not ready to be finished, but it will not change, it is not Rennes, Bordeaux is not, Lens is not, it is the TFC has finished 3rd in League 1! There are rules, they must comply. When a game stops 3 minutes from the end, there are ways to score in the last 3 minutes so it is quite normal to give the 3 points in Toulouse, I know not where is the scandal.

Dréossi Pierre, manager of Rennes, it is evidence of bad times distressing ... "
course the scenario tonight is cruel. Now take a goal in stoppage time, these are things that happen in football and you have to accept it. But I will not hesitate to say that tonight Mr. Thiriez has stolen a preliminary round of UEFA Champions League and that's much worse than taking a goal that is after all our fault " If there are people to whom it may resent it's just his players have failed to take their victory and Nantes fans! Thiriez But certainly not a regulation which applied logic. Apparently, only Lens has accepted defeat and disillusionment with class. J 'I also liked the comment of Arribagé player, Toulouse " If you are lucid, you know you have benefited from the mistakes of the big league that failed them shoot. If you are lucid, we know that it pisses everyone whether you are qualified for the Champions League, telecommunications and others, but we, we are Toulouse and it will give us the means to grow. " Finally, I also remember that Rodez finally rises in the National after failing twice narrowly the last two years. In 4 years, expect to see the perks of Toulouse in LDC;)
