In a few short hours, we arrive at Glastonbury , being too much hassle to ride our fucking tent among thousands of others in a muddy field whore. Glastonbury is the biggest festival in the world, 180,000 people, hundreds of groups, a weekend of all the excess and ... a time of shit. Since the beginning of the week, all the media speak English every day and especially Glastonbury: what time will he do, this is the big question? The last event in 2005 was the most catastrophic in history (see photo gallery here ), weather is a subject that does indeed talk. Earlier this week, it was entitled to a catastrophic weather floods and then over the week, the forecasts became better: it would rain so that 3 days 4 with only a few heavy showers a day. Ouahou, but it is a time to dream, he will therefore have to remember to bring sunscreen!
short, a Glastonbury without rain is not a true Glastonbury. On the list of things to bring, we find very often in the front line boots. Well, that, already, that will not this time because the few places we went had already been robbed ... It's okay, we'll go to hard, it seems that the first Glastonbury is a good lesson for next time;) Do not worry, it was still a tent (two for three seats) and sleeping bags.
Glastonbury, it's not a time to shit, it's also music. It must be admitted, the headliners this year are very disappointing (Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, The Who) but if you look at the entire program, we say that we are dealing with something special. Look at the program's dream Friday night on the Other Stage! And when we see what is happening on other scenes, we say that there will be some very difficult choices to make (on Friday evening for example, offers Arctic Monkeys, Bjork, Hot Chip, Damien Rice, Damian Marley and Fatboy Slim at the same time !)... Personally, there are groups that I really want to see as Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes, The Chemical Brothers or Arcade Fire, then we'll see ... hard to predict in advance ...
Apart from that, there are rumors that the Libertines might form again during the weekend. During the night from Saturday to Sunday, there will also be an attempt to beat the world record for simultaneous rolling shovel ...
What is certain is that this weekend will remain unforgettable. Ok, I'll leave you, I'll prepare my bag.
