Glastonbury 2007 - Glastonbury

Glastonbury: see all items .

Veni, vidi, vici. It was hard but we survived. As expected, it rained so we experienced what it feels like to live for three days in mud listening to music, either classical conditions for Glastonbury. It takes a little time to recover but it will remain an unforgettable memory. You must go to Glastonbury to understand why it's so myhtique ...

was however very nearly missed it for a stupid mistake. Arrived at Earl's Court to await our bus in the middle of many other pilgrims (yes, Glastonbury is a kind of ... pilgrimage) who had backpacks five times bigger than ours all together, we waited patiently for our bus number was announced, while we binouze with some refreshing. Once we had heard our number, so we walked to the bus. It was already full and was about to leave without us! Apparently it had been announced for a while and it was not gone yet, it's just because it was blocked by another bus ahead of him! When you know that it is the driver who delivered the tickets to Glasto, would've been really bad ...

After four hours of travel and a moment tourism through Stonehedge we arrived at Glastonbury to 22h in this Thursday evening. First impression: it is huge, very impressive. It is as if a great city had been placed there in the valley in the hills. 180 000 people clueless in the middle of the campaign, ca takes up space. It was nice (translation: it was not raining) and we, young and naive, thought then to spend a glorious weekend, we almost disturbing not to have taken a sunscreen (I may be a little too far there). We found a nice place to pitch our tent (two seats for three, I said) then go merrily discover the huge site in us wandering in the aisles and scenes, stopping the passage in bars here and there enjoying the various events.

Back to 4am, a little surprise waiting for us: our tent was no longer in his place! Wholesale malignant who watched around a fire had seen fit to move it, probably because they had exceeded their imaginary line of comfort. After a short discussion, we understand that it was not worth wasting more time with this group of retarded mental and went to bed in our tent that was a few meters away.

The day would soon rise, the sky was calm, the grass was still green, almost dry, you could sit by quietly and think-earth exceptional musical program tomorrow. We did not know it was last weekend we sat by-land ...
